Lorelei Jones
Lorelei “Lei” Fujiko Jones, 60, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 1 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Sept. 1, 1957, in Kealakekua, she was a homemaker.
A celebration of life will be held 9 a.m. Dec. 30 at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Boat Harbor. Service at 10 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Loose flowers welcomed.
She is survived by sons, Billy (Valerie) Jones, Shane (Melissa) Jones; daughters, Jonette Jones, Leesha (Clinton) Hirayasu; brothers, Kenneth (Pamela) Yonemura, Jr. all of Kailua-Kona, Thomas (Sandy) Jones of San Diego, John Adam Jones of Kailua-Kona, Dennis Ikaika-Jones of Honolulu; sisters, Emma Lani Berdon, Delilah (Lawrence) Manguail, Cindy Thrasher of Des Moines, Iowa, Candy (Mitchell) Gaspar, Sr., Nohealani all of Kailua-Kona, Sherry Nakoa of New York; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Angeline Apigo
Angeline Rosita Apigo, 62, of Papaikou, died Dec. 14, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on July 8, 1955, in Hilo, she was a retired greeter for Credit Union (CU) Hawaii.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 28 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 7 p.m. memorial service. Casual and no flowers.
She is survived by husband, Jesse K. Apigo, Sr. of Papaikou; sons, Jesse (Mari) Apigo, Jr. and Brandon Apigo of Papaikou, Chad (Tranae) Apigo of Keaau; parents, Albert (Mary) Mata of Oahu; brothers, Roberto (Fel) Mata of Elf Grove, California, Guy (Antoinette) Mata and Fabian (Corinne) Mata of Oahu, Albert “Tiny” (Iva) Mata of Kona; sister, Virginia Kang of Oahu, one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law, six grandchildren; Hawaii; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry Konanui
Jerry Konanui, 68, of Pahoa, died Dec. 14, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Dec. 15, 1948, in Olaa, he was a retired working foreman for Hawaii Electric Light Company and he also was a U.S. veteran who served in the Army. He also was a member of Onipaa Na Hui Kalo, Hawaiian Civic Club, Na Papa Kanaka o Puukohola-Papa Kawaiaea Ohua, Pahoa Kumiai.
Friends may call 7-10:45 a.m. Dec. 28 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Military honors will be at 11 a.m. and a celebration Mass at 11:30 a.m. with lunch to follow. Casual attire; flowers and lei are welcomed.
He is survived by wife, Gladys F. Konanui of Pahoa; daughters, Nicholle (Damon Tucker) Konanui and Kanani (Lawrence Kalawe) Konanui of Pahoa, Teresa (Sheldon) Pajimola of Chester, Virgina; mother, Elizabeth Konanui of Sumter, South Caroline; brother, Howard (Jane) Konanui of Pahoa; sisters, Sheila (Harold) Aiona of Opihikao and Janet (Thomas) Gladden of Sumter, South Carolina; five grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
